Recognising the importance of the arts in modern society, the Bally Cultural Foundation was established in 2006 to support local artists born or residing in the Canton of Ticino, in Switzerland.

Funding Policy
Jedes Jahr wird der Bally Award verliehen. The prestige carried by the title ‘Bally Artist of the Year’ provides the recipient with numerous invaluable opportunities and exposure within the arts community. In order to be eligible to apply for the award the following criteria must be met by each individual or artist group: __ Artists or Artist Groups born or currently residing in Ticino. __ Artists or Artist Groups of excellence in the disciplines of painting, sculpture, photography, design, graphics and other contemporary and traditional art mediums.
