1. Funding Policy

   PeaceNexus provides tailored advice to peacebuilding actors that we believe can make a difference. Upon a request from an organisation, we assess the problem, the organisation and the specific assistance required. We develop the project with the “client” and then hire experts to implement it. Every request received by PeaceNexus is individually examined and assessed. The decision to support an intervention is taken by our Governing Board and is based on considerations of feasibility and potential impact. Successful proposals need to demonstrate: __ A peacebuilding need and/or an organisational challenge relevant for peacebuilding that can be addressed by PeaceNexus __ A critical gap that PeaceNexus can fill at this time __ Adequate organisational commitment to sustain the activities __ The willingness to collaborate with other relevant actors __ High potential for a multiplier effect triggered by PeaceNexus’ intervention
