L'assistenza a bambini e giovani, prevalentemente luganesi, da esercitarsi anche mediante aiuti economici, tramite Enti pubblici e/o privati. Privilegiando gli stretti rapporti tra la città di Lugano e la Fondazione Ciani, quest'ultima considererà con particolare attenzione le richieste di contributi da parte della città, riservandosi tuttavia di valutarle di volta in volta, ritenuto in particolare che le stesse dovranno comunque prevalentemente consistere in interventi a favore della gioventù luganese.
