Die Stiftung setzt sich zudem dafür ein, den weltweiten Klimawandel zu bekämpfen und seine Folgen für Mensch und Tier zu lindern. Die Stiftung verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Selbsthilfezwecke. Sie kann im In- und Ausland tätig werden, sei es durch Verwirklichung eigener Projekte oder durch Unterstützung von Projekten anderer in- oder ausländischer gemeinnütziger Institutionen.
