Brief Profile
Founded in 2015 in Switzerland, the RALTOZ Foundation supports chamber music and musicians, especially string players. It funds concerts, education, and instrument acquisition. The foundation is non-profit and provides financial aid for selected projects and institutions.

Purpose (SOGC)
Die Stiftung unterstützt und fördert hauptsächlich die Kammermusik (u.a. das Ensemble "Les Chambristes") sowie Musikerinnen und Musiker, insbesondere Streicher (vor allem Bratschisten). Unterstützt werden können u.a. Konzerte von Schweizer Musikern oder in der Schweiz wohnhaften Musikern im In- und Ausland, Aus- und Weiterbildung sowie der Erwerb von Instrumenten. Grundsätzlich können Kammermusik-Ensembles sowie einzelne Musikerinnen und Musiker ein Gesuch um Unterstützung stellen. Die Stiftung kann aber auch aktiv entsprechende Ensembles sowie Musikerinnen und Musiker suchen und ihnen Unterstützung anbieten. Die Auswahlkriterien für die zu unterstützenden Ensembles sowie Musikerinnen und Musiker werden vom Stiftungsrat festgelegt. Die Stiftung bezweckt ferner Ausschüttungen an schweizerische, vom Stiftungsrat ausgewählte wohltätige und gemeinnützige (und somit steuerbefreite) Institutionen. Die Stiftung hat keinen Erwerbszweck und erstrebt keinen Gewinn. Sie ist ausschliesslich gemeinnützig tätig.
