Purpose (SOGC)
Die Stiftung hat gemeinnützigen Charakter und ist konfessionell neutral. Sie bezweckt die Förderung des kulturellen Lebens und der sozialen Fürsorge im Aargau, insbesondere a) auf kulturellem Gebiet: - durch die Pflege der schönen Künste, inklusive dem Ankauf von Kunstwerken; - durch Unterstützung der Wissenschaften (nicht aktiv); - durch die Pflege von Natur- und Heimatschutz; - durch die Pflege des Tierschutzes. b) auf sozialem Gebiet: durch Fürsorge für Hilfsbedürftige als Ergänzung der von der öffentlichen Fürsorge erbrachten Unterstützungen und Leistungen, unter Rücksprache und in Zusammenarbeit mit den Behörden. c) ausnahmsweise dürfen gelegentlich auch humanitäre Bestrebungen ausserhalb des Kantons Aargau (z.B. Katastrophenhilfe) unterstützt werden.
