Purpose (SOGC)

Die Stiftung verfolgt den Zweck, eine standortgerechte Vielfalt an Tier- und Pflanzenarten zu erhalten, zu fördern oder wiederherzustellen. Sie bedient sich hierzu insbesondere der folgenden Mittel: Erwerb von Waldgrundstücken und angrenzenden Grünflächen (inkl. Dienstbarkeiten); Erwerb von weiteren naturnahen Grundstücken und Grundstücken mit Entwicklungspotential für die Artenbeförderung wie etwa alte Steinbrüche oder Gewässergrundstücke (inkl. Dienstbarkeiten); Renaturierung und Pflege von Grundstücken; Aufklärung der Bevölkerung über die Bedeutung einer standortgerechten Vielfalt an Tier- und Pflanzenarten für das ökologische Gleichgewicht; Unterstützung von Artenförderungsprojekten von Dritten. Beim Erwerb von Grundstücken konzentriert sich die Stiftung auf Flächen, die im Lichte des verfolgten Zweckes keinen oder nur einen geringen Pflegeaufwand erfordern.
