An initiative of the AO Foundation, AONeuro was founded in 2013, and has now grown into an independent foundation, Global Neuro. Today, it is focused on advanced professional education with global outreach to approximately 40,000 professionals. By utilizing formal educational curricula and key opinion leaders as faculty, it seeks to advance practice, surgical techniques, and outcomes assessments for neurological patients worldwide.

1. Purpose (SOGC)

   Die Global Neuro Foundation ist eine medizinisch ausgerichtete, gemeinnützige Organisation. Sie fördert den wissenschaftlichen und medizinischen Fortschritt im Bereich der Neurowissenschaften durch Ausbildung, Forschung, klinische Dienstleistungen und Ergebnisanalysen. Die Ausbildung erfolgt nach dem neuesten Stand des Wissens und gemäss anerkannten Betreuungs-Prinzipien. Sie legt den Fokus insbesondere auf neue neurochirurgische Lösungen für die weltweit am häufigsten vorkommenden Probleme des Nervensystems. Darüber hinaus kann die Stiftung alle Arten von Projekten und Programmen mit freiwilligen Beiträgen unterstützen, die diesem Zweck dienlich sind.
