This supports physicians in the quality management of treating these conditions and simultaneously provides a research platform for long-term studies. Alongside physician-reported data, SCQM collects Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) such as information on perceived disease activity and socio-economic data. The integrated feedback system supports physicians in making therapeutic decisions.

1. Purpose (SOGC)

   Die Stiftung betreibt im Bereich Rheumatologie eine unabhängige, von lokalen, regionalen und persönlichen Interessen freie Forschungsplattform. Sie verfolgt weder Erwerbs- noch Selbsthilfezwecke. Die Stiftung bezweckt insbesondere: a) die kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Qualität der Behandlung der rheumatoiden Arthritis, der axialen Spondyloarthritis und der Psoriasisarthritis mittels eines Feedback-gestützten Messsystems b) die Anwendung der Instrumente des SCQM in krankheitsspezifisch adaptierter Form zur Verbesserung der Qualität der Behandlung anderer rheumatischer Erkrankungen c) die interaktive Zusammenarbeit zwischen Praxis und Kliniken d) den Aufbau, die Dokumentation und Evaluation schweizerischer Kohorten e) die Verwendung der Kohorten und der gesammelten Messdaten für klinischepidemiologische Untersuchungen und Grundlagenforschung f) Kooperation mit externen Registern g) den Aufbau und die Pflege von Beziehungen zu entsprechenden ausländischen Organisationen.
