The Most Important in Brief

Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow (YTT) is a notable international non-governmental organization founded in late 2017 and headquartered in Paris. We focus exclusively on programs for marginalized children, women and youth. Our programs are multidimensional, reaching over 65,000 schoolchildren, 1,000 teachers, and 400 community workers in 120 schools and 8 Universities across 11 countries.

Purpose

To empower marginalized children, women, and youth through transformative education, mental-health, peace-building, gender-equality and community-based programs that promote dignity, resilience, and opportunity.

To provide inclusive, culturally relevant support for vulnerable populations To foster social cohesion and non-violence through peacebuilding initiatives To build the capacity of teachers, schools, and communities to support sustainable change To reach underserved populations across borders, especially in crisis-affected regions

Principles

YTT is guided by a rights-based, inclusive, and participatory approach. We believe in equity, non-discrimination, and locally driven solutions. Our work is rooted in empathy, partnership, and long-term social impact, prioritizing the empowerment of those most often excluded from decision-making and opportunity.

Measures

To achieve our goals, YTT implements: Participatory educational programs in formal and non-formal settings Psychosocial support and mental health interventions for children and youth Teacher and community worker training in inclusive and trauma-informed methodologies Community-based peacebuilding through theatre, dialogue, and cultural practice Monitoring, evaluation, and adaptive learning systems for continuous improvement

Financing

YTT is financed through a diversified portfolio of grants from private foundations, international cooperation agencies, public institutions, and academic partners. We also benefit from in-kind contributions, pro bono expertise, and collaborative program co-funding with local organizations.
